Yup, Raleigh Oaks RV Resort in Four Oaks, NC. it used to be a KOA, but new owners bulldozed it and started over. First trip out since it re-opened.

Leaving about noon today for Jellystone in Gardiner NY ... it's gonna be cold Friday night in the 30's, but with 60 pounds of propane and plenty of firewood it will be GREAT!

Jellystone Gardiner was sold about 6 months ago. The new corporate owners are putting in a water park, added many new cabins, renovated existing cabins, and purchased adjoining land to add what we hear to be over 100 additional RV sites.

Well, we stayed home over the holiday weekend. Did go to a memorial day service at Anderson National Historic Site outside Americus, GA. Are already hooked up though to leave in the morning for Auburn, Al. "Blue Grass On The Plains, kicked off yesterday and we will be there through Sunday. Ricky Skaggs performs Friday night. Gotta get tuned up!

So first camping trip is in the books for our new Jayco Jayflight 27RLS and only a few issues occurred. When we backed in and were all set to disconnect from TV, the electric jack did not work and after hand cracking (which was not bad) I researched problem to find out fuse blown from battery to jack, easy fix with new 30amp fuse. Also the furnace would not recycle when it dropped below the original setting. After taking with dealer, we are checking tonight to see if flame drops on stove when furnace kicks on, may be pinched line. All in all, it was a great weekend of camping along side the mosquitoes. Hope everyone else had a great weekend honoring our veterans.
