Camping World
We began RVing in 2016 so we are new to this part of our life. We bought a Hummingbird 17RK and had a few warranty issues and took it to the local Camping World where we bought it. Based on many of the posts I read I was terrified that my trailer would sit there for months, and the work would be subpar. I only have this one experience but it was very positive, I was told 4 weeks and it was ready in 2 1/2, and all work was completed to our satisfaction.

It's easy to bash them. Like almost every company review, they aren't as good or as bad as some of the reviews.
The views expressed may not be mine in five minutes.

Any business/franchise is only as good as its management and employees. I think many here can recall going to two or three franchised business (fast food, campgrounds, etc.) where at one the service is good, and down the road, terrible. We just follow our instincts about the ebb and flow of the first few minutes, pay attention to what they say, or don't say, and leave no question unasked. Then there are fewer surprises. Just ramblin'........

This is exactly right - I will not ever step foot in my CW store after a horrible buying experience and even worse follow up. I will not condemn all CW locations because that goes to punishing all for the actions of a few. Where I do lose some faith is after reaching out to CW Corporate, my concerns were brushed aside and not addressed. That to me does say something as a company...

Thanks for taking the time for the positive feedback. Including the name etc. might be helpful to other JOF members.

CW Byron, GA. Aaron was the service advisor and did a good job with follow up.

This is all interesting. The floorplan that we are interesting in buying is pretty popular. I saw it first online in the Coleman version. In our area CW is the only place that sells them and I have heard bad things about them. They don't carry Jayco at all. I was happy to find the Jayco version in the form of the 212 QBW and the dealer in our area that sells them has been around a long time and gets high marks. I still would like to make a trip to CW to compare theirs and to see how I am treated.
