Check valve failure

I had my what I think is first real part failure since I purchased my 2013 26RLS. The inline check valve for the black tank flush started leaking a little when using the flush. Given the location of the valve in relation to the tank, I'm comfortable that it was only clean water that leaked and my socks, in a plastic container, were right below the valve so they were the only thing that got damp.

Not bad considering that I am into my 5th season with the trailer.

We had ours replaced twice under warranty. Both were defective until we found this part.

That is one of two I bought. Since nobody had them locally I ordered a spare. 👍🏻

Lucky you that it took 5 years. Ours failed the first time out last month in our brand new 16xrb and we had puddles to clean up in our brand new camper. Will get it replaced but sure don't want to have our camper sitting at the dealer when we have 2 trips planned this month.
