Check your ground. Just do it
This is so simple and can save you money and grief. In another thread I questioned and finally figured out why I fried my converter and then lost all DC power.
It was because my ground connection was never tightened on the frame from the factory.
Just look at yours, wiggle the wires and make sure everything is tight and there's no signs of corrosion. It could save you a whole lot of trouble.

I just looked at mine yesterday! It wasn't preventative unfortunately, I think I might be having an intermittent problem.
But now that you said it, I'm probably going to look again, closer this time.

Take it apart. Clean the crimp connections and tighten it all back tight.
It's a little job that might save your a problem in the future.

Yup. I can attest to the importance of the ground. On an older Class A I had I would get shocked if holding the awning support arms and the garden hose nozzle from the house.

Mine is up front on the tongue, bolted to the inside of the curb side of the A frame.

Yes, just follow the white wire from the battery. It will be attached to the tongue.

We totally redid ours when we put the new batteries on and added heavier gauge wiring in anticipation of an upcoming project. The factory wiring was really sloppy and just bugged me every time I looked at it. Now its all tidy and I KNOW it's right.

Re-doing all of the undercarriage wiring is on my list. Thanks for the info.

I have noticed the crimp connector does not look like the highest of quality on mine. Maybe in the off season I will replace the ground cable with something pre-made with better ends..

Don't forget to check the 2nd ground connection, where the ground wire going to the converter connects to the frame. I upgraded my wiring a few years ago, going from an AWG #8 positive wire to an AWG #2 wire. Also added bigger ground wires, both locations, and made damn sure the ground connections to the frame were tight and clean. I sprayed the connections with a couple coats of black paint to help seal the frame connections from the elements.
I also checked (and tightened if necessary) all connections on the converter. Several were a little loose.

SmokerBill, even though I replaced the converter I did not notice there was a bond to the ground at that point. I'll go back and check. Thanks!

Checked it last night. Even though it looked good from the outside and was tight, I went ahead and took out the bolt and cleaned up the leads and put it all back together. It only takes a second, and that's one more thing I don't have to worry about any more.
