Converter

Hello I have a 2003 kiwi too 26s with a IOTA DLS 45 converter that doesn't seem to be working all fuses are good. Is there a variety of converters I can replace it with or do I have to get the same one. Thx

The IOTA's weren't the best and where prone for overheating. You can put in a progressive or World of Friends (W.O.F) WOF is complete with electrical panel and progressive is a single converter. If you use the Progressive you can also have a smart charger (around $35.00) connected what does a full battery maintenance.

You don't need to replace it with the same model. There are probably many other models that will fit. Do a bit of research and find one that is a smart charger and it will take better care of your battery as well as faster charging when you are plugged in.

Progressive are good ones as far as I know. And I believe you can replace just the converter part of the power center or the whole thing if you want to really upgrade.

Cheers

This website has a bunch of models. I have never used them though...
