couple maintenance questions...

We're probably going to be getting our first freeze here in OK in November but we will still be using the trailer occasionally especially during hunting season. How do I protect the trailer from the pipes freezing but still be able to use it?

Also, the roof has accumulated a lot of acorns and such. I don't have a factory roof ladder but can I just use a regular ladder to climb on the roof to clean it off?
Trailer is a 2015 264BHW

At minimum, empty freshwater tank and run pump until it is out of water. Drain your water lines and water heater completely then blow the lines out with an air compressor. Make sure to blow water out of each faucet, shower, outside shower and toilet. Dump RV antifreeze in your drain traps and some in the toilet to keep the seal wet.

I don't have a factory roof ladder so I use a 12 foot step ladder to get on the roof.

Don't forget to drain your water heater.

What we do is winterize it, then when we do use it we bring bottled water to cook and drink and use windshield antifreeze for the toilet.
