Couple Questions for Newbie

Hi,

I have a 2015 Jayco X213 towable with a rear slide out. I have 1 general question about the slide out being; during the time my trailer sits in my driveway not being used (between trips), should the slide be in or out? Same question for storage (it gets stored for the winter inside a barn).

My second question is around the fuse directly off of the 12 V battery. My father changed it to a new 20 amp and doesn't remember if it was originally a 20 amp or 30 amp, can anyone clarify so I can be sure the correct one is installed?

Thanks for any support!

I recommend the slide be in when not in use. Those seals leave small gaps. I notice a gap where I see daylight and I try to keep as many critters out as possible. For the second question, I'll let others confirm for your model but I know mine is a 30 A.

Store slide in to avoid any sag over time or stress on the rails.

30 amp fuse between battery and TT
