Crack in tub

Hello All;

I've heard a few sides on caulking the tub. For and against. I just found that my tub in our new to us TT is cracked. It was hidden behind the shelf pole. Now I'm saying caulk is ok if I use bathroom caulk. It should flex enough to stay put, I HOPE! What do you think? Any other ideas?

List of troubles so far.
Roof leak(right rear corner wet and wood rotting at bottom and roof too)Could not tell upon initial inspection. Discovered when putting in new tail lights.
Slide out seal rotten. Appeared ok visually. Discovered later when washing TT.
Bath tub cracked. Hidden behind pole shelf.

Hopefully 3 strikes and I'll be out of trouble.

Happy Motoring

Is the tub itself cracked or the tub surround?

Remove the trim and get a fiberglass repair kit from a boat dealer. Fix the bad spot and re-install the trim. The pole is probably why it cracked, too much downward pressure.

Yep, that would work. Hardware stores also have them.
