Denver mattress on bunks

i have a 28 BHBE 2016 and the bunks are a weird shape. My 24 year old son complained about the mattress. With the strange shape what kind of topper have others used or other suggestions. I weigh 245 and the Queen I sleep in feels fine.

You may have to buy a bigger topper and cut it to fit with an electric knife.....

Are both bunks being used? If not, put both mattresses on the bunk that is being used. The two together should be about the same thickness as the queen bunk.

That could change after a few nights sleeping on it. Mine did!
Now I use a 2.5 foam topper under the Denver mattress and it's much better now.

You could pick up a similar one for the bunk and cut the radius with siccors or a knife. I think we found it at Walmart on clearance for $40.

Good luck!

Funny I came across this post..I was just thinking today of maybe replacing bunk mattresses with Twin or Twin XL. We replaced our standard issue Denver mattress with Dynasty RV Queen from Amazon and it's awesome!!! I need to measure bunks though. I know the cutout creates some issue but I figured that any space the Twin mattress didn't cover from side to side would just be space for the kids to put their luggage, video games, etc. I just want the twin mattress to fit lengthwise. Does anyone know dimensions of bunks in 264BHW?

When we were looking for toppers for our pup I was astonished at how much they were at Wal-Mart and Sams. I started doing a little research and these were highly recommended on a site I followed.

You can obviously choose different sizes and stiffness. 5.5 seemed to be the preference by most. We really like ours.
