Can someone tell me how to remove the nut retainer from the nut? I have the TT jacked up, removed the rubber plug and see the retained but it will not come off. :lightning:

That is a page for your EZ lube axles, after the rubber cap is removed there is a hub cap just like other axles, then remove the nut and bearings. I like the EZ lube, but being a mechanic for more than 35 years, I like to put an eyeball on my bearings, the races can tell you a lot about the bearing health.....

I don't have the hub cap. After removing the rubber plug there is a nut retainer and that is my problem, it won't come off. The page you showed is nothing like my EZ Lube.
