Dinette Modification???

Anyone out there ever modify their dinette for better/larger sleeping accommodations? I'm trying to think of a way to sleep two adults comfortably. Figure I could come up with something to match the height of the bench and cushions to "extend" it out and throw an air mattress on it, but wanted to see if someone out there has already done something. Was looking for ideas.

What do you have for a trailer?

Well I have the Jayflight 19RD which is too small, but am looking at the getting a Jayflight 24FBS which has lots of storage and is bigger, but limited on sleeping. So was wanting to see a way to maybe "expand" the dinette sleeping area.

My old trailer had a double bed, but enough room to squeeze in a queen. I got a 2X10 (which was the difference between the double and queen) and used that to widen my bed platform. I used a couple pieces of 2x12 as legs to bolster the bed to the right height.


Imagine the 2x12 as a bench, with mattress on top. Its something simple you can throw in the bed of the truck when you don't need it.
