Dinette table storage when traveling

I recently purchased a 2012 X23B with a U-shaped dinette. When in transit I noticed the table slit around. What are some suggestions for stowage when tailoring? Having a hard time find info if it should be folded down to form the bed, stay up or am I totally missing something?

Congratulations on the new to you trailer and welcome to the JOF.

There are lots of units out there with dinettes. I'm sure someone has had this happen to them and will post what they do.

Our dealer said to always travel with it down in the sleep position.

Fold it down, and place it in the bed position. It stays there quite well, it has never bounced off the rails.

As suggested, in the bed position. If it was just the Bride and myself we started leaving it behind.

Thank you all for the input. After taking look at the rails there are two stops that hold the table in place when in the bed position. Bed position it is when traveling. Thank you.
