Do I have a 12vdc Receptacle?
Does anyone know if my 2008 Jayco G2 25 RKS has a 12vdc receptacle.....similar to a cigarette lighter receptacle in one's car? My trailer is about 80 miles from my home and I do not remember seeing one.
I want to order a device that runs only off of 12vdc.
Thanks much.

I am not familiar with your rig but have never had a rv that did not have one dc cig lighter type receptacle in the same location as the television amplifier/ connection.
As I was told, years ago rv television sets used 12vdc, hence the outlet.

+1 There should be one near your TV; your antenna amp should be connected to it.
I have another one in my trailer, but I think this is something they added in later years for charging cell phones and the like.
If it comes down to it, and you're a little bit handy, they're not that hard to install.

Thanks to all. I should have guessed it was on the TV plate...which is hidden in my trailer.

Don't worry. I have to lay on the floor and reach in a dark hole to get to mine. Often, I stick my finger in the socket!
Once on, I leave it on until I leave.

Sorry to bump an old thread up, but how do you turn it on @Norty1?
I just bought a cigarette/USB adapter so I can charge my cell phone/tablet inside the TT while dry camping, but it doesn't seem to work? The adapter is fine, works in my car socket. Have tried it with the antenna signal amp on and off, but have had shore power connected. Does the outlet only come live when off shore power?
It is labelled for TV Power ONLY, so wondering if it is switched in somehow?
