Domestic refrigerator
I had my camper plugged in to our house since this past Sunday to make sure everything is in top shape for going camping this coming weekend. Today I went inside and noticed the fridge and it wasn't working. I know 100% it was working cause I put ice cream in frozen solid and now it's a milk shake...(lol).. anyways I noticed a letter A on the temperature setting where you select temp, on/off and how you want to run it...I can't seem to find anything online about this. I was in this situation a few years ago so I tried the same thing this time. I put two new fuses in. As soon as I plugged the camper back in both fuses popped...now I'm fed up...I've been trying to repair the roof also.

First, lets establish what kind of refrigerator you are referring to. Are you asking about a DOMESTIC (as in residential refrigerator) or a DOMETIC (brand name) RV refrigerator?

I'm sorry that's not the correct brand. I went in the camper today and noticed it's a norcold. And I also found a huge leak coming in from the roof...I've almost had enough of this camper..I've been putting to much money into this in the past 2 years than I paid for it used....smh

If it is a Norcold and anything like the one I had in my last trailer, you have to manually switch it to AC. IIRC, the mode switch used 0 (zero) for off, a sine wave for ac and a flame for propane.
Then, when switching over to propane, you had to get a good fire going back there using a piezo igniter and microvolt gauge. ...
Did the fridge have a really strong acrid/pungent odor when you pulled it from winter storage?

What model and year is the rig? Where is it leaking? Have you maintained the roof regularly? Checked and replaced the sealant on the roof as needed?

Here's a link to another forum with some specifics on troubleshooting the Norcold N621 with Code A (No AC present).
RV.Net Open Roads Forum: Tech Issues: Norcold error code "A" - No A/C
