Door jam

Our first outing. The trailer is level. And now our bathroom door is crooked and doesn't latch anymore. Had no issues with it until now. Any ideas?

I had the same problem on our first trip with our 287 BHSW. I was level and door wouldn't latch. Took it off the stabilizers when hooking up and it was fine. You may have to tweek the stabilizers when you get set up and see if that helps. I don't use them to level, but probably do put a little more pressure on them than I should. I've got a teenager running around though and I have to to keep the trailer from shaking every time he flops over in the bed. This in turn keeps the DW happy, which keeps me happy.

Are you trying to level the trailer with the stabilizer jacks? This will twist your trailer, if you are, you need to stop.

You should level your trailer side to side by placing blocks or pads under your trailer tires, and then level front to back using your front jack.

THEN, once you are level, use your stabilizers to "stabilize" the trailer

No. I level with blocks, etc. I just crank down to make sure they are taking a little weight. It makes the trailer more stable. I know this kind of moves things on the inside a little though.
