Dual Freshwater Tanks and Sanitizing

We just picked up a 27BHS and it has two fresh water tanks. When I dewinterize (if winter ever goes away, expecting 4-8 inches of snow in chicago tonight), I will sanitize the tanks.

But, how have people sanitized both of them since there is only one fresh water fill?

Do you use the bleach/water recommendation for the combined number of gallons between the 2 and just let it spill over into the 2nd and hope it does what it is supposed to?

I'm a little stumped.

Thanks
Scott

Yes, don't overthink it. I will fill up as one tank and drain as one tank. Mix your sanitizer as it is one tank and all will be fine.

There is only one tank drain as they are also connected like the fill. There are 2 overflows on most models in case you overfill the tanks, both will spew!
