Eagle 330RLTS bed size

Anyone know what the actual size of the queen bed is in the Eagle 330RLTS?? I've looked everywhere and can't seem to find it.

Many thanks,
Bill B. (Michigan)

Hey Bill, I assume you're talking about a 2012 model. I have a 2012 Eagle 320RLDS and it has basically the same front bedroom slide that the 330 has. My queen is 60x80 just like the one in your house. I dug out my 2012 Eagle brochure to re-affirm this. The 330 has the exact same bed. To be absolutely sure, you could e-mail Jayco about this. Almost bought that one but the DW wanted the big rear picture window. Better have a big truck to handle that 1400# tongue. Anything else, let me know. Terry

It is a regular queen size bed. It is not the short Rv type bed. We ordered ours with the big picture window also.

dlfeather,
Those are great modifications you made. I like the electric fireplace idea.

TCNASHVILLE,
Yes, I’m referring to a 2012 model. I have Dodge Ram 2500 w/ Cummins Diesel.

I have my eye on a new 2012 330RLTS that’s sitting at a dealership. Right now I’m trying to negotiate a price. The dealer says it’s a brand new unit and I countered with yes but it’s almost 2 years old already (2014’s start coming off the line in April orders). So as soon as I buy it It’s going to be 2 years old as far as value.

If you guys don’t mind could you email me with what you paid for your units?
Email me at wbarnard@mi.rr.com if you like.

Many thanks,
Bill Barnard

Terry, thanks for getting back. The 2012 330RLTS has the big picture window in back if you ordered it with the entertainment center but not the fireplace. I would add the fireplace later (from Home Depot) and mount it in the cabinet under the TV.
In regard to emailing Jayco. I think they respond only if you catch someone awake down there. I've emailed them with 3 different requests this past month and haven't heard a word. But if I phone Judy at the visitors center she is very friendly and cooperative.
I have a 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 with a Cummins Diesel so I should be okay in the tow area. You're right though Jayco does seem to be tongue heavy.
Happy trails,

Wow, I did NOT do my homework on that trailer. As I recall, we were in the early stages of buying a new camper. Last January at the Indy RV show, we walked into the 330 and I loved it, looked like a small apartment! Rear wall had a fireplace and the TV mounted above it on a solid "rock" wall with 2 small windows on either side. I don't even remember talking to a salesperson before we exited the camper. Darn! Oh well, we really like our 320. My loaded tongue is 1450# and I tow with a 2012 F-250 6.7l diesel, your Dodge won't even know the trailer is back there. Ok, maybe a little. I'll e-mail you my purchase price. I could kick myself after seeing dfeather's mods.

Billb, Jayco seems to have a penchant for loading 15% on the tongue. If you want 1500# bars your choice is limited. And while hitch class ratings are all over the place, I'm yet to see a Class IV rated above 1200, mostly 1000, so a Class V is required IMO. And even then I've seen that given a 1200# rating, although usually it gets 1800 with WD. So having enough truck isn't the whole answer.

Keep in mind that the published weights are under "unloaded conditions", and even these published weights (UVW & CCC) don't reflect the actual unloaded "Ship Weight".

Both WDH and all RV manufactures recommend a 10% to 15% loaded tongue weight (% of loaded TT weight). It's also very common to see folks with the heavier/longer TT's maintaining a 13% to 15% loaded tongue weight range for enhanced TV handling.

This is somewhat off topic, however, I seen a gentlemen in a 1/2 ton GMC pulling a 330RLTS. Some things just make me go hummmmmmm.
