Electric Tongue Jack

I am looking to get an Electric Tongue Jack but I am not sure on the diameter of the post . The model I'm interested is the Barker 3500 with a 2-1/4" diameter post .Does anyone have any experience with this model . The trailer I have is a G2 29BHS, which is in storage so I can't measure it but wanted to know if this would fit. Any help would be appreciated

*listening to this thread with interest* We have the same model and I really want the electric jack. Don is convinced we don't need one. One thing I have read elsewhere is to make sure that the jack can lift the weight of not only the tongue, but the truck too (WDH issues)... so it needs to be heavy duty for our the weight of model tt.

I also bought mine from Adventurerv.net but mine was a refurb. Had it for a year now. It looks just like the one in OurJayco's picture. Mine was $99.99 plus shipping and it makes a HUGE difference with my tiredness level when we camp.

The other thing that works really well for me is the BAL-Lock stabilizer bar. I have one installed on every stabilizer arm now and the trailer hardly shakes at all now. Before, every time one of the kids moved at night the whole trailer shook. It drove me crazy.

I have the Barker 3500 and it has been great. I ordered it off of ebay and have had zero problems. I hear Barker's customer service is excellent, but I haven't had to find out yet!

Great thanks for all the info. Still not sure if the Barker 3500 will fit on the G2 29BHS so I guess I'll have to wait until I can get to measure the diameter of the post.

bmet2000 how is the fit on your trailer, just wondering if you had enough clearance between the head of the Barker 3500 and your Propane gas bottle cover.
