Entrance Stairs

We have a Jay Flight with the 3 steps to get in. Due to lack of clearance, I was not able to unfold the last step. When folded up, the last step does not sit flat on the middle step and I'm afraid to step on it. What do you do in this situation? I can see it happening often as the last step is so close to the ground. Thanks.

Steps

I would take it back to the dealer and have them fix it. 2015 is under warranty.

Since I boon dock and I have had the situation where the bottom step hits the ground and will not completely lie flat. I either dig a hole under the step or pile dirt under the tires to raise the trailer. You use boards or Leveling Blocks to raise the trailer if in rv park.

I have only noticed the unfolded lower step close to the ground when it is hooked up to the truck. When sitting unhooked and level, with the front slightly higher for water drainage off the rear, the lower step has always had plenty of ground clearance....so far.

You may be able to unbolt and move the entire step up to allow clearance.
