Fantastic Fan Install

Yesterday, I installed a fantastic fan in our 2015 Jay Flight 26BHS. We have the elite package and wanted a fan in the living area vent. For power, I ran wires through the attic to the control center where the light, slide and awning switches are. This was the most challenging part as there is not much room, AC ducting, insulation and other wires to get past. Even though it is only about a 4' run, it took about 30 minutes to get the wires fished through. I could have tapped into the power from the light right next to the vent, but didn't want the fan to be on the same switch as the lights were. Removing the old dicor and fan was a little time consuming but easy. The install of the new fan was also easy. I just asked fantastic vent to send me the extended interior garnish since the included one was too short. They will send it out free of charge. I am happy with the install. Below is the only picture I took of the install. This was to show my wife the nice hole I created in our new trailer As you can see, the roof needs to be cleaned...

When I did mine I opted for the easy hook to a light route.. but then mine is over a 10' run to the switches..

I did not opt for the rain sensor. I could not justify the price difference. It is just the basic model with the thermostat. If it is going to rain, I just close the vent.

If you had, I was just wondering how good it worked.
