Faucet water pressure 2017 Flight SLX 245

The kitchen sink and the bathroom sink faucets have very low water pressure.

Hooked up to city water with a pressure regulator, low flow from the faucets.
Take off the pressure regulator, low flow from the faucets.
Disconnect the pressure regulator from the city water, great pressure.
Reconnect the regulator and still great pressure without hooking up to the trailer connection.

Disconnect the city water and turn on the 12V pump, low flow at the faucets.

Is there some sort of "flow pressure" device that has, or not, some flow adjustments?

The water flow/pressure is low...the stream is about the size of a pencil when the faucet is wide open with either city water or holding tank/pump water.

When I once had this problem I found the faucet screens had clogged up with some grit. Unscrewed them and found it. Quick job to clean them up and my faucets were much better. Easily twice the pressure. It was a simple thing that I didn't think of at first.

Most of the devices in a trailer have water flow restrictions built into them. I would check the ends of the faucets and take the screen off to see if there is a restrictor in there and if its dirty like the previous post says, clean it. Otherwise try removing it if that didnt work. Usually has an unscrew-able end on it. Failing that, check if the water lines underneath are kinked. Maybe they have twisted when they were fitted.

I had thought of some restriction in the lines.

The bathroom faucet has the same low flow.

Now let's see if I can get the faucet ends off ok.

Thank you

I've also noticed that my trailer has low water pressure but it's not awful. Funny thing is if I turn on the kitchen sink and the pressure is low and then switch to the sprayer (we have that pull out style nozzle) there is too much water pressure and it reflects off of everything and makes a mess. I have to turn the pressure down to almost nothing. Same thing in the shower. There is not a lot of pressure coming out of the faucet but when you switch to the shower head, it's pretty darn good, especially on the more powerful setting on the shower head. I'm going to replace the bathroom sink faucet, not because of low pressure (which it has) but due to the lack of height in the spigot. It will be interesting to see if the pressure changes with a new faucet installed.

Inside the sink faucet end fitting was a white plastic diffuser.
Took that out and bingo......a good stream from the faucet
on pump pressure.

This white plastic diffuser had a tiny mesh screen in it.
I could care less screening dish water and hand washing water.

Are you talking bathroom or kitchen sink? Does your kitchen sink have the pullout spray nozzle?

Good deal. I figured it was probably the easy fix like mine had been.

Very Bad Pressure in Kitchen Faucet

Hey, can anyone help me? I am looking for a plumbing diagram so that I can figure out whats wrong with my Kitchen Faucet pressure, or someone with experience in this issue.

I have the 2019 Jay Flight SLX, 34ft tow trailer. The faucet is the pull out sprayer/soaker kind.

I have checked the screens, there is nothing there. Water flow from the source is great, its a hose with a pressure regulator.

Bathroom sink and shower are great, no issues. Kitchen pressure is so low, it literally takes 60seconds to fill up 4 cups of water, or about 120 seconds to fill my 10 cup coffee pot.

Funny thing is, this started a few months ago, and resolved on its own. Now the problem has returned, is worse, and I cant figure it out.

Can someone help me with this please? It would mean a lot.

Thank you in advance!

You might want to delete one of these threads. You have this question posted in two threads and it is going to confuse matters.
