Finally got the X213 home

It's been a bit of a journey. Started looking at class C motorhomes. Spent months doing the research. And came sooooo close to buying one. Then completely changed direction, and decided to get a TT. Found a used 2012 X213, and bought it on the spot. Problem at that time, was we had no TV. The dealer was kind enough to let us keep it on their lot until we found something to tow with. I've always wanted a VW Touareg. And with positive feedback from Tunce The Travler about Tourages, that's what I went with. Used Tourages ( with the V6 TDI I wanted) can be few & far between. But after a few weeks, found one. So today, off to the dealer to drag her home. Next step it to get a cover to park it under.

Wow sounds like you have had a busy few months. Looks really good.

Time to sit back and relax in the new camper.

Great combo you have and it will be an enjoyable journey. As you already know all the underpinning are Porsche and Audi Q7 so you are $25-30K less for the same comfort and pulling power. You'll love the hill holder fetcher at lights " no roll back" and you do nothing.

After much research (and looking into other cars) I purchased the x213 and I will be dragging this thing around in my 2015 Audi Q7 with the tow package and all the other goods. How has the driving been?

Most of the time you won't even know you have something behind you. I just got home after another 4,500 mile trip and I still love this combo.
