Finally picked up out 2017 White Hawk DSBH

So after waiting 5 months for our trailer to come if we finally have it! we come from a few years tenting, 15 years in a pop up, we are so excited to get camping in April. I know there has been some threads about Jayco quality lately but I will have to say I am nothing but impressed with this trailer, I am really anal about detail and this thing is perfect. I think some of this has to do with the dealership doing a really good job on prep! I have a few upgrades in mind but for now we just added the slide out topper. Today I will be parking it for winter, just happy having it in the yard and ready to go!

Camp on friends!

P.S. thanks for all of the great topics and posts, I have been reading and learning allot in the past 5 months! this is my first post!

Congratulations and welcome! We loved our WH!

Is that by any chance Forrest Marine & RV in the first picture? Looks like their lot with the red barn in the background. We are very happy with them as a dealer.

Congrats on the new trailer. Nice looking setup. Wow 5 months of waiting! I'm glad to hear you've had no initial issues. That's been the case with both of my Jayco's.

Congrats on the new trailer! Our build took about 5 months (19 weeks) as well so I can relate. But in hindsight, it was worth the wait.

That's a beautiful setup! Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new trailer. Now that the long wait is over, I hope you can get some trips in it soon. If nothing else, camping in the drive way is fun tool. Enjoy!

Looks great! We have a 28BHDS 2015. I'm concerned about your wheel chocks not being "chocked" on both sides of the wheel set. Be safe and enjoy!

Congrats, Yapper. We have he same model/year rig and we love it. You can see our mods in photo album link in our signature block.

What info can you share about your slide topper? Manufacturer, price, install info? It's a mod we've been thinking about too.

Again, congrats!

I'm not sure on the topper brand it was $499 installed seems to work well, I will know better after we actually camp with it.

Looks nice! I like the bathroom sink faucet. One question what are the gels that you added to the light and were do you get them?

Was that at Forest Marine and RV? I just picked mine up on Friday! The same model and almost the same truck. Good luck with it. I am hoping to get some good use out of mine

Nice rig! What is the build date on your rig? It looks like the running lights are now round. Are they LED? Did yours come with the Goodyear tires? We have one on order and is slated to be built in April (hopefully).
