Finally pulled the trigger!

We have been looking for a TT for our family for years, hoping to one day upgrade from our 16 year old popup. Well...we placed an order today for our first TT! Jayco Jay Flight 28BHBE with mineral interior, elite package, 15 btu AC, 50 amp prep, 2nd AC, thermal package, Sway Command, cargo receiver, aluminum wheels and hide-a-bed. Thanks for all the advice, we can't wait to get it, and were told today that it should be produced around mid-April. Hoping to take possession in late April/early May.

Congrats, did you get the fiberglass sides too? That's a fast turn around time. I'm not sure I'm sold on the sway control, as I would think having a quality WDH hitch would be redundant. Let us know how it works.

Congratulations. Plenty of camping weather left in the year after you get it.

Thanks, I decided against the fiberglass...I've seen too many damaged units on the road, plus I didn't like the lack of cross ventilation with the frame-less windows.

I'm also not sure about the Sway Command, but I've watched a few YouTube videos and it seems like it would be a great help in times of emergency and for only $250 it was worth the investment as a potential safety measure. At least for me, I consider redundancy to be a good thing when it comes to safety. :-)

Congratulations on your new camper. We just purchased our replacement today, 2016 Eagle 284BHBE. We really liked the 28BHBE but got such a deal on this one couldn't pass it up, 35% off MSRP. Pick ours up in the next week or two.

Congratulations. Sounds like you are going to have a nice setup. Post some pictures for us when you take delivery. I found the PDI checklist posted in this forum a big help in finding things during the inspection.

Good luck.

Congrats...

Were you able to see if they would move the bunk lights for you?

Unfortunately, moving the lights was a no go. Also, checked to see if I could get a manual awning instead of the power one, but it's power only. Oh well...I guess you can't have everything :-)

Congrats on your order. We have the same trailer ordered with similar options and our build date is same as yours, so our trailers will probably be "line" mates. Can't wait.

Looks like several of us are going to be receiving our units at about the same time. We can't wait...spent the day yesterday at the local CW looking at all the goodies we will need when our TT gets here.
