First long trip is in the books. 30 days, 9 states, and 5k miles. Major stops in Chicago, Twin Cities, Bismarck, Rapid City, and Kansas City. Some minor issues but no major problems and everyone still gets along. Good trip.
Pulling a 2015 28BHS with a 2014 Ram 1500. I hit the trip odometer before we left and it said we got 12 mpg for the trip, some of that was driving without the trailer. We had stops every 4-6 hours to see family or friends and with my wife and I driving fatigue wasn't an issue. Also, the wind cooperated for the most part.
Hey awesome! Another 28BHS owner! I weigh in at 6700lbs loaded with a 900lb tongue weight and get about 9.5MPG. Such a great floor plan, I absolutely love it.
I love the floor plan, didn't even know it was an option until we saw a used one and grabbed it. As to feel, I am not used to towing with coils in the rear so I put in some air bags to stiffen the ride. I don't use them to level only to improve the feel. I still notice trucks and wind but it rides more like a truck. Next on the list is tires.
