First Trip was a Success!

We camped at a local campground for Mother's Day weekend and it was a success! We pretty much had things where we wanted them but made a list of some things we want to bring next time. It is wonderful to go from a pop-up to a TT, but I was struggling a little with the "pop-up" mindset so I had to remember that I DID have room for that thing and I COULD use the sink to wash dishes, etc!
Can't wait for our next trip!

We had two Viking Pop-Ups -- the first one was small and we towed it with a minivan, the second was bigger (had a slide out) and we towed that with an Explorer. We were about 15 minutes from home this time so can't say much about the towing experience yet.
The biggest difference was having the bed already made up, the clothes in the closet (no suitcases or duffle bags in the way) and the BATHROOM! We did use the bath house for certain things but it was nice to not have to get dressed in the middle of the night and go out in the dark!
There are also a bunch of little things like having an electric awning instead of having to pop up half way, unzip the awning, and dealing with that. The kitchen sink is better (bigger) and of course the fridge, stove, oven, and TV. It was also super nice to not have to pack anything in the tow vehicle, to be unloaded there and at home. Everything pretty much stayed in the TT until we got home and then only cold stuff or stuff that could melt came into the house (along with the clothes of course).
All in all I think we will have more time to enjoy the camping experience rather than spending a lot of that time setting up and tearing down!
