flooring ripping HELP!!!

We have a 2015 28BHBE. I was cleaning the floor and noticed twp tears in the flooring. They are in the same spot, jsut a few inches apart. Tonight my husband put our slide out to get ready for a trip and I noticed the tears were significantly worse. Could the slide be cause this some how? Any other ideas?

Thanks!
Tricia

Staples or screws poking through could certainly cause this. Also if the slide is just rubbing it could cause this. If the slide floor is bowed it could cause this, I would have your dealer check it and see what they find. Something is causing it to rip.

check right above the tears and see what is attatched there on your slide I know a good number of folks have said something screwed in had the screws too long protruding through the bottom snagging the floor

Check the screws on the dinette post sockets on the floor. Ours were too long from the factory and protruding through the floor just enough to scar the linoleum. Longer than 3/4" screw in a 3/4" floor. Idiots. Managed to fix ours before any major damage by changing out with shorter screws. Jayco owes you one and the guy installing the screws needs to find a new career.

Slide was fine all last year. Just recently noticed it. Could something have moved or adjusted? We had planned on taking it this weekend, but I don't want to make things worse.
