Floorplan Modification

I just purchased a 2005 Jay feather lgt 29n. The floor plan with the kitchen and couch in the slide out and two chairs in the rear was appealing, but now we've realized that our two boys will not sleep comfortably on the fold out sofa. I'm considering removing the two chairs in the back section and building a convertible lounging area that serves as two seats for the chin wag then folds up to a bed for the snooze.
Any ideas for construction or layout?

I don't know exactly what you have in mind but a neighbor who adopted some kids removed the couch from his trailer and added a bunk bed set that he made. It was very creative and gave them the extra needed space for sleeping. I think he said he got the basic furniture through IKEA and then modified it for his purposes.
