I hope this isn't a duplicated question...I did search the forum first. This is our 1st TT...prior popup owners. We have a G2 31RKS. I read on this forum how a flush floor s/o is supposed to move in and out. We asked on our showthrough if the s/o floor can be walked on when retracted. We were told "no problem". We just retracted to store for the winter. There is such a gap between the s/o floor and trailer floor that it doesn't look wise to put any weight on it (or sit on the couch). The Jayco book does not address this. Many things told us on our less than stellar ST have turned out to be incorrect...so no longer trust their info. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Well I would think it is fine since it gets walked on while extended. I realize while extended it has supports but I can't imagine it being where it wouldflex to a breaking point. Guess it boils down to good ole' step and see .
Our tt just has the couch slide so the floor doesn't slide with the couch. Sorry, can't help

Our dealer warned us against stepping on the edge of the slide floor when the slide is retracted. He stated that he has seen some problems with the edge cracking. He thought that is ok to sit in the dinette with the slide retracted as long as we didn't step right on the slide edge to get there.
