FM Whip Antennae Removal

Anyone know if the whip antennae on the 2012 264 BH is easy to remove. I looked in the manual no info. I was just on the roof at the storage site and forgot to check it out. To far to go check out. I am putting on a cover next week and was wondering if it just bends over, to A/C hieght or needs to be removed.

Mine is a two part unit. As I remember it uses a large Phillips head screw to secure the two pieces together. Loosen the screw, rotate the antenna and then retighten, so not to loose it.

Mine is really easy to lay down, as Jagiven mentioned it is just a single screw.

I just took mine off... its on a ball mount that is in 2 pieces. Most have a Philips head screw in them... a very few have allen head screws.

I took mine off too by removing the crew. I did not want to leave it on even in the own position with the cover on just it case it pokes a hole in the roofing membrane

Mine has a screw and angle adjustment means. I suspect you could remove the screws and the top of the whip would come off.
