Folding Table Leg Lock Mod - JayFlight / Swift - Best $10 EVER spent

The biggest hassle we encounter with our TT is converting the dinette for sleeping...

The table legs wont stay "locked" and collapse, it's bulky....the DW will no longer try it on her own...

So following is Part (1) of a (2) Part Series on making this common conversion a more pleasant process....

1) I picked up (2) Master Lock 9/32 Pivot Lock Latch Pins Part # 1491DAT from my local ACE Hardware....

2) Drill (2) 9/32 holes (through the leg braces) and (2) 1/8" holes (through the brace mounts)....as shown....

3) Hook the ring clip through 1/8" hole....Slip the 9/32 Pivot Locking Pin through the Table Leg Brace and your table legs are now firmly locked....

The pin tether prevents fumbling for hardware (sometimes in poor lighting) - and lost hardware. The table can now be stood up from the end without fear of collapsing and possible injury to self or fixtures.
