Free Installation at e-trailer

I stumbled into the knowledge that I happen to live in the city where e-trailer's world headquarters is located - Wentzville MO. It is a HUGE operation. It is the only one of their warehouses where you can go there to pick up your internet order. And it is their only location where they will INSTALL what you have purchased, and the installation is FREE. My first purchase was a cable for a Tekonsha p3, to transfer the unit to my new TV. They did a beautiful job of mounting the unit and connecting it up, even though I had not bought the controller there in the first place. Months later I went there to pick up some towing mirror extensions; I was just getting started installing them, at the far end of their parking lot, when a guy ran up to tell me that he would take over. It was free. I hadn't said anything about installation to the clerk. Recently, I bought Wheelmasters inner duals valve extension kits for my motorhome, and they installed them free, even though they had never done it before! Beautiful job. And very low prices to begin with. If you live anywhere near the greater St. Louis area and have an interest in towing, check out etrailer. These people are in a class all to themselves; I'd never seen anything like it.

I wonder if I drove up there and bought a b&w turnover ball if they'd also install that, I doubt they go to those lengths.

I love etrailer.com. Excellent service, technical support and customer support.
I just ordered a slide topper from them 5 minutes ago.
They did price match with Amazon and I saved $72.36

What is it about that purchase that makes you doubt that they would install it? Their installation facility looks to be a serious operation, geared to handle the heavy duty stuff.

I don't doubt that they'd install it, I just doubt that they'd install it for free. If they would that's where I'm going to go and get mine.

I think they would. . . . The Will Call pickup and the installation would have to be scheduled days in advance. . . . And in the case of the valve stem extensions they installed for me, they wanted to have the RV scheduled for an entire day. Entailed removing the outer wheels, I believe. Can't beat the price, though. Coming from a distance, of course your logistics would have to be worked out.

I'm hoping to get one of these myself. Which one did you order if you don't mind me asking? Plan on installing it yourself? My dealer offers 20% off your first major purchase after buying your trailer but from my experience, I doubt that will beat e-trailers pricing.

That's awesome to learn, I drive by there almost everyday and thought about stopping in to see if they had showroom of any kind. I am looking to mount a receiver on my TT and if they would do for me, win-win.

I bought this one. It's back ordered at eTrailer until June 10th. Looks like it's in stack at Amazon for same price.

They have a very good install video on the eTrailer site. I will install.
