Fresh water level sensor

Hello friends, I have a 2015 Jayco Eagle Premiers. Sorry not sure about the model. The problem is that the fresh water reads empty at all times and am not sure where to start looking and am hoping it is something simple. Pls help.

We would start by checking the wiring connections at the fresh water tank. It could be a simple ground wire connection which is typically common to the multiple sensors for the sensing different levels.

I know this may sound like a dumb question,but are you filling the fresh water tank? When you are hooked up at a campground to city water the tank is not in use and therefore will never show a level.

I fill the tank before I hit the road for those emergency stops, and for when we dry camp. But at the CG I hook up and don't check it till we get ready to hit the road.

Also at the deer camp we have to use our tanks and pumps. It stopped reading during deer season last year

Field critters (mice, etc.) got to the wiring.

Put you RV on a hard, level surface and crawl under there. You will find a bitten through wire or two.

Repair with a crimp-on butt splice or Scotch-Lock (r) connector.

(Ask me about a brand new oil-pressure sender in a car parked in the wrong place.)

We have a winner! Thanks a ton for the advice everyone. But Mike u were on spot. The little rodents had made easy work out of about a foot worth of wiring. Got it all patched up and back in business.
