Friction Hinge Doors

When we picked up our 23MRB, the dealer said there was something wrong with the door. He said it closed just fine, but seemed to have a little catch in it. We didn't feel that, but we did notice that it stayed open where we put it. The dealer did a little research and found out it's new, and called a "friction hinge" door. It ... stays open where you put it. It is pretty firm - you can't just fling it open - but we think that's a wonderful thing. No more door slamming shut on you. (Our dog won't have anything to do with the trailer stairs, so we carry him up and down, and it's great not to have to hold the door with one elbow and then try to see over the dog so as not to trip on the stairs. )
