Frozen antifreeze - winterize concern?

I checked on my TT this morning to find the anti-freeze in the toilet partially frozen. A month or so ago, I winterized by blowing out the lines then running antifreeze in them as a backup measure. I don't recall if the 2" of water in the toilet is from pumping it thru the lines (which could have diluted the antifreeze) or if I poured it directly in the bowl. I had some antifreeze in the jug that was fine and added it to the toilet . Should I see ice forming in antifreeze with only a mild freeze? The lows have been in the teens the past few days.

Not to worry. RV antifreeze isn't made to not freeze at all. It is designed so that if/when it freezes, it does not expand as water does. Sounds like you're just fine.

I have seen leftovers in the bottle in my garage slushy, never have paid attention to what temp that appears to happen at.

Learn something every day ! I would have also wondered what the heck was going on. Used the stuff for years and never paid attention .
