Furrion camera display location?

I have a Furrion camera for my Jayco Whitehawk. Works well. Camera is at the center back of the trailer and wired to the lights.

I am having difficulty seeing the image in the display. Specifically, I stick it to the windshield and it seems to be to far away for me. I put it in the middle of the truck under the rear view mirror. I can't find a place to put it any closer using the suction cup mount that works.

Have any of you found a better place? A better way to attach it to the truck.

My truck is a 2017 GMC Sierra.

Thanks.

Steve

I have the same issue.
Love the screen and quality of the image it provides for seeing car behind on hwy and backing up. But in my Durango I can't mount it where I can get the screen looking straight twds me. I am gonna try double sided tape at the bottom and top this week since we have a long trip planned and really need this thing to be at a good angle. I think it will work in the lower area with hopes that the windshield keeps it in place.

I am wondering if some kind of sand bag mount might work? Could put it directly on the dash near the left of the center.

It is 17.5 x 9 inches in size. I wonder if it is too big. How would the monitor sit on or in it?

Have mine mounted up near the rear view mirror. I have the antenna bent over at 90° angle. Good reception on it. Maybe try putting the antenna like I have it?

I dint go with that. I tried the double sided tape and it works for me since I wedged the top of the screen into the glass and the view is perfect. Doesn't block my vision from the road. Not sure if it will stay put. I went about 10 miles and it didn't move. I also ended up ordering this kit instead of the other one. The other one would have been too big but it got solid reviews for staying put. The suction from the furion mount would attach right into it. With the one below it uses magnets and mounts directly on to dash.

Tape works great! Routed wire under dash.
