Furrion dissapointment...

We're a little disappointed that our player won't play Blue Ray discs... or do we have a problem? It plays DVDs just fine. Not wild about the sound, either...

I'm not aware of any of the RV "DVD" units that will play blue ray discs... I looked into swapping ours with no luck.

I just added a stand alone blue ray player in a small compartment under my TV. I went batty trying to find a built in replacement. I use the speakers in the ceiling for my DVD sound. They aren't the greatest but we are usually only watching movies on rainy days anyway.

I only own DVDs LOL. I keep a few in the camper for rainy days. The kids are getting older now so at least they are not cartoon ones anymore.

Our plan is to plug in a spare Playstation that has blue ray built in which gives us Netflix access and of course the game library, just use the HDMI port on the furrion. We've never been ones to go camping and then immediately plug in everything that we have at home.. just having a toilet and running water is fairly new for us when camping.. but I have to admit, being able to watch my favorite horror movie(s) at 1AM in the woods, when the fog or rain moves in adds an extra star to almost my entire B movie collection. It's also awesome when you're staying at a typical KOA type place and there isn't a lot to do outside of the camper anyway that resembles legit camping.
