That is a half ton. Pulls it fine. Says tow capacity is 9500lbs. This trailer is 6048 empty. It pulls a steep grade I used to pull with my duramax diesel with about the same weight trailer about 15 Miles an hour slower. It might need some cheater bags in the rear though. That extra leaf spring in the 3/4 ton take alot of the bounce out on bumps.

Did you scale the setup? I'm about ready to start dealing, but I have to believe that once the front storage is loaded, master bedroom armoires are full of clothes, the kitchen is stocked, the twin 30# cylinders in place, and a battery in the box, the tongue is easily 850 plus pounds.

That 9600# capacity doesn't mean a thing if you have passengers or ANY payload in the truck over the driver. Sad, but true.

I have not taken it to a scale yet. I think my truck tongue weight max is just over 1k lbs. Fully loaded trailer and cargo of truck i am sure is close to the 15k max gross vehicle weight.

Giddiness

Trust me the "giddiness" will fade fast as the issue (hopefully minor) start to mount.
