Gladiator Tires

Hi Everyone. I've been on hiatus since we sold our 26BH but the dealer accepted our price for a 2016 eagle 314BHDS. We're pretty stoked and ready to get back out there.

I've been endlessly researching everything I can on this camper from the electric stabilizers to the air bags for my truck. One thing I came across is the Rainier ST 8 ply tires currently on the tire. I guess their pretty new with not a lot of testing or history. That makes me nervous and I expressed my concern to the dealer. For $189 total, he is offering to change out the tires to Gladiator 10 ply tires. I haven't heard of gladiators either. I would appreciate everyone's opinions if we should keep the rainier, upgrade to gladiators, or go with something else.

I have not heard of them either. I have the rainiers on my eagle as well and so far so good, just keep the pressures correct.

Ask if they will put LT tires on in place of the ST tires. That is an upgrade you will not regret. I have used a couple brand ST's and all have had issues. Never any problems with LT's. Do a search here on the many ST tire issues.
