Got My Yamaha 3000i SEB Truly Amazing!!!

I got my new generator last week when I bought my New Trailer. I just had time this weekend to take it out of the box fuel it up, oil etc... And giver her a test run.

I did much research and was fortunate that my neigbor has a Honda. I went with the Yamaha for a few reasons. I am not here to say the Honda is not a great Generator, so don't attack me... I simply liked the boost technology that Yamaha includes. I also like the fact the wheel kits are included not like the Honda's. I like that the Yamaha are more quite than the Honda. I like the economy boost and they way it saves fuel...

That being said, I started this thing and my neigbors and I stood over this thing talking and we spoke in normal level, THATS HOW QUIET IT IS>>> It's amazing. IT ran my fireplace inside the Trailer, microwave and the A/C just to see if that was too much. It was fine, and it still has more power...

Anyways I bought a small folding ramp and it rolls right up in the truck with ease. My wife can do it by herself. She is a tiny thing...Like she said, If you can puch a broom you can roll the Yamaha Generator into the back of my truck. I am so glad we chose to get this Generator I was on the fence. I 100% recommend/Approve this Generator to anyone even thinking about one like we were...

Best part, I having my house wired so when the power goes out the Yamaha will come to the rescue with the turn of a key or the push of the remote control button....It's riduculous how spoiled Camping has gone....

Hey buddy...how dare you not buy a Honda! Lol....

Glad to hear another good report on the Yamaha, I hear there are quite a few satisfied folks. Maybe with some good competition it will bring the prices down a little.

How did the prices compare to the Honda when you were shopping?

For picture of your Yamaha generator, surf: http://www.electricgeneratorsdirect....00iSEB_500.jpg

Glad to read you have a "near silent" Great Generator. By looking at the above picture, I noticed your generator lacks an included Volt Meter guage. To complete your package (and to reduce appliance "stress"), may I recommend a Volt Meter also be purchased / installed within your Trailer. For a good visual usage Volt Meter (that plugs into a trailer's 110/120V outlet), surf: http://www.motleyrvrepair.com/Battery007.jpg

Other then this Usage Guage addition, your new Super Silent generator sounds great. For my future generator, I'll be keeping your specific Yamaha on my "also research" top 3 list as well. Thanks for sharing your postive results - with your new Yamaha generator.

Way to go!!!!

Hi bulldogs116,

What size A/C unit on your TT? Did you have to add the hard start kit?

Thanks

Yamaha

I have the 13.5 btu unit. No hard start kit, not even sure what your talking about there, sorry. I just turn a key and wala. It has the boost technology to give it extra juice. But the Microwave, Fireplace dont even run it down...

Question What type of ramp?

I have the Honda 3000 Si and it is too heavy for men to lift. Honda sells a wheel kit for it and I would like to know about the ramp you bought to load into your pickup bed.

Yamaha

Check out discount ramps. They have a pet ramp that will help load your equipment.
