Gray water valve exposure

I was wondering why jayco didn't tuck the gray water drain valve in the underbelly. Going south this winter and don't want it to freez-up. Black water valve is tucked under fine. 298rlds eagle s. l.

Sorry I don't have an answer for you, Jim. On my X19H, it's the opposite; my black water valve is in plain view, and the grey water valve requires me to get on my hands and knees to reach it. For what it's worth, I haven't had any freezing issues with mine. We camped a couple weeks ago and it was below freezing the whole time. Happy Camping!!
