Grey tank #2 question

Hey everyone, new guy here. We just got a 2017 Jay Flight 32BDSW which has 2 grey tanks and one black. All sinks and shower drain into grey #1, and don't seem to transfer over to grey #2 when full. Is that how it works, or am I missing something?

I have a '17 32bhds. The grey #2 on mine is outside kitchen sink only. It's about 8 gallons

Yep... Only 8 gallons. What I did was add on of these to the outside

and open both valves to balance the tanks... It was good enough to finish the weekend without dumping the gray water.

I have a 2012 29 RLDS and it has 2 gray tanks also, They are separate and don't transfer over as far as I know.

Just be sure you know where the tanks are physically located before planning to transfer. I know of at least one model where the second tank (for the outdoor kitchen) is mounted higher than the main tank. This is based on a former post because they got a surprise when trying to equalize. The water from tank 2 would drain to tank 1, and there would never be any water in tank 2 (not to mention the overflow coming up through the shower).
