Grey water valve stuck open

2013-23MBH
im glad it's stuck in the open position, as the water poured into sewer, but big problem for our next trip when I have to hold and dump.
Anyone had this issue? It doesn't look like you can pull pipes apart-hot glued together.

I should clarify- grey water flows out freely weather valve is pushed in or out- nothing seems obstructed.

Is the handle still attached to valve? They screw on/off. If attached, probably broke. Quick fix if you are near someplace that sells rv supplies, would bee to buy a back flush device that hooks to sewer pipe like your hose. It is like having a second close valve. Be sure to buy the one with a on/off valve and handle. Have noted them at some Wal-Mart stores.

Valve handle attached. It pushes in-out like normal- feels normal- just doesn't do any water holding at all.

Then the slide blade isn't connected. Mine has a face plate that is connected with four screws, that will get into the blade. Never tore it apart, but it may be repairable. It should have a brand name stamped on device, and a google could find a repair kit.

I'm getting the tool kit right now it's daylight-will report back. Don't know what happened. We had some bumpy roads and dips on the way home but don't remember bottoming out or bumping it. There's no scrapes etc ? Huh?

The valves I've seen are bolted into place. The rest of the system is glued together but you should be able to remove the valve. Don't think they cost that much to replace.

This is the king of thing I have to re-check on myself, so please understand why I am asking you,

Does your trailer have two gray water tanks and one black water tank? If so, are you positive you are operating the correct valve for the correct tank?

Fixed!

I undid the 4 bolts like you guys instructed, took out the valve n cleaned the grit out n put it back. All done. Proud of myself and saved a trip to the 100 mile away dealer! Yippie

Good idea on the replacement spare. If it was the black valve I'd be doomed as its buried way up under the insulation sheet

I have an external twist on valve that saves me from getting any gray or black water rushing out in case of valve failure or pipes not draining depending on trailer tilt at dump station.
