Hanging pictures in trailer
Wife and I would like to personalize our 2011 JayFlight 26 RLS. We would like to hang some family pictures and items such as a clock. We thought we woud go with a small nail and some velcro. We were wondering if others had done this and how it worked with a wooden 8X11 picture frame.

Someone suggested the Command products to us, but the picture still fell while traveling on some rough roads, or unseen "bumps" in the road.
What works best for us is to pair the Command hooks with a piece of velcro. Our pics and clock have not fallen since! Hopes this helps

Yup, in our neck-a-the-woods it's a little less expensive there

I had to replace my microwave when I was in Yuma last year and I used industrial velcro to keep it in place that I bought at Home Depot and that stuff is amazing, and I bet it would really work for pictures.

Use Velcro
I use strips of Velcro. For our atomic clock, I hung it on a screw (because of its weight) but added a strip of Velcro attached close to the bottom of the side of the clock that touches against the wall to prevent movement. Nothing's fallen off the walls yet.

My parents were snowbirds up until a few years ago and they used the industrial strength velcro for all their pictures and a clock. They had a collage picture frame with all 6 of us kids and grandkids in it. It held up for years through all different climate changes and their travels. Hope this helps.
Glad to see someone else with the same TT as us. We love it.

I use those 3m Command Hooks and they have worked pretty well. We take some stuff down when on the road, but so far nothing has fallen.

I use the 3M hooks as well but put a little "Museum putty" at the bottom to stop bouncing. that stuff even holds my XM "Ghetto Blaster" in place

I have used Velcro successfully. One tip I have found out the hard way is when removing Velcro, warm it with a hair dryer and they will come off w/o damage to the wall.

For hanging clocks etc, we use the 3M command hooks and just remove the clocks before travel. For hanging pictures we use self stick picture frames from the link below:

Has anyone had the weight of the pics and clocks pull the wallpaper away when using Velcro or command strips?
