Heat duct to furnaace connection

While clearing water from inside my furnace due to being flooded by a stuck inline model 571 vent on my black tank scrubber line, which was located above the furnace, I noticed one of the four heat duct hoses was not connected to furnace. The other three were taped across the top with silver duct tape, looked solid, but upon examination, the tape was not around bottom, and all three were only partially connected. I gathered up a roll of same tape and found out its a chore to wrap that sticky tape around bottom of duct to seal the connection. Its all jammed together in a very tight area. Bet the qc people did not jam their fingers down there and check. Anyway, long story short, check yours, my heat ducts blow lots more air today.

Sometimes you have to wonder if some companies even have qc, and just how much emphasis they place on it. Not talking about Jayco in paticular, just companies in general.
