Wow....I'm sure you checked your thermostat so all I can suggest is swing by the dealer because you may have anything from a loose wire to a loss of Freon (and the system is sealed and cannot be checked like a car a/c). You are going to need that a/c this next week. When you checked the a/c and it blew hot air, were you hooked up to 30A?

Yeah we leave Friday for a short trip, I have it plugged in to a 30 amp rv plug I had put in about a year ago and have used it with a fifth wheel many times so I know it's not a low voltage issue (pretty sure anyway) my dealer for jayco is 150 miles north of me, not much time to do that with work and everything.ngotta have the ac, going to be 103 this weekend. Not to mention I don't think the fridge is working either. Very unhappy with this TT so far, my only saving grace is to have the mobile RV guy look at it tomorrow if he can get to it. The warranty will cover all but the trip charge and I'm sending that bill to my dealer , like it to not. Epic fail at this point.

Good luck, Camp David. I know this situation is frustrating since you are so close to your Friday trip. Maybe you will have some luck tomorrow with the mobile RV guy. Sounds like a minor problem so hopefully tomorrow will be a good day for you and the RV. Meanwhile, maybe someone else that reads this will have a solution for you.

Thanks so much for letting me vent...haha... Nothing is worse than TT problems just days before a trip. Not to mention I've never even used the trailer even once it's brand frickin new. Geeez....

Maybe a capacitor went South?
If so, should be a quick fix for the RV tech.

Let us know what the solution was.

Best regards,
Doug

Be sure to check out the battery system. 12VDC battery is used in alot of places... But of course being plugged into shore power should overide a bad battery... Be worth checking out... should be 13.6VDC on your battery terminals when shore power is connected and running.

Without shore power power your charged up battery should read 12.6-7VDC...

Since you have been sitting for a long time plugged into shore power may have boiled out your fluids in the battery is the reasoning of bringing up the battery check. If your battery has been boiled out for the fluids then you may also find some blown fuses between the battery and the converter/charger. i.e. shorted cell in the battery

You may have outlived your hand shake warranty as well with your local dealer so don't be too surprised if they don't help you out like you may be expecting. A year sitting is a long time...

Just my thoughts

It takes almost a full day ( 24 hrs ) for the fridge to get up to speed so to speak. I always plug it in for a full day so it's nice and cold before I go on a trip. I've had it turned on for a couple hours and then checked it but it still felt warm so if it's only been a 2-4 hours that would be why. leave it on overnight it should be cold and set it to 5.

As for the ac just make sure it's not on "fan" only ( which I'm sure you,ve done )

Hope that helps a little.

cheers

We had the same problem last year with our X213. A/C didn't work the first time we tried using it. We were 6 hours from home took it to the nearest dealer after checking all the things that we were told to check. Unit was bad and fortunately the dealer had one in stock and it was replaced under warranty. Good luck.
