Unhappy Help, water pump not working

Hello everyone! My husband and I just bought a 2017 Jay Flight X213 and we filled it up with water for the first time tonight. We turned our water pump on and it kept running and running and running. When we turned our kitchen sink on only the winterized fluid came out and then nothing. The pump was on from 10-15 minutes and water still did not come through our lines. We bought the camper brand new. Any suggestions??

Check and make sure the low point drains are closed. As well is the plug in on the hot water tank. If it was still winterized there is a good chance these valves and plugs are open so all you water is pumping out on to the ground

We had no water leaks outside or inside, but I will double check to be sure.

If you have valves in the utility center to change, one or more are not set right.

Check the valve at the water pump. There is a suction line for winterizing. If this valve is set wrong the pump will be trying to draw from the suction line instead of the water tank. On mine they have change the valve style and it is hard to see what line the pump is trying to draw from

I had the same issue this year when flushing the antifreeze. At the pump, make sure the valve on the clear suction hose is closed and there is another valve by the pump that may be hidden that needs to be opened.
I closed the suction valve but didn't see the other valve as it's hidden behind a shield.

Here is what we have

Here is the only valve what we can find on our water tank. We turned this parallel and tried the pump and heater. We then turned it back to the other position and tried the pump/heater again. Both did not work. Not sure where to look for another valve. Still need help

Thank you so much for the assistance.

Do you have a clear hose about 3 feet long that's only connected at one end? That's the suction hose for drawing antifreeze into the lines. Close this valve. Put thumb on hose end when pump is on ,you should feel no suction. There has to be another valve near the pump that you need to open.

Is the clear hose inside?
The white in the picture is some styrofoam cover. Would it be behind that?

Again, thank you so much for your time!

The stryrofoam is insulation on the water heater. Look under the kitchen sink for the water pump. The clear hose is connected to the pump.

Great! Make sure the water heater is full and the air purged by opening a hot water faucet before turning the heater on.

It will take a few minutes of the pump running to fill the water heater.

I would bet this is what it is.
