I laid on mine at the lot. Once I made it home with my TT I went to the furniture store and bought a regular queen and put in it. That junk mattress went in the dumpster where belonged.

We ditched the original mattress and bought one of these... Made a huge difference.... (Price went up a little bit since we bought it)

OEMs are junk. $250 is $249 more than it's worth. Enjoy your new mattress.

Now I'm wondering if I should just replace the mattress instead of a topper.

The views expressed may not be mine in five minutes.

Don't waste your time on a topper, thats like perfume on a pig, its still a pig.

mattresses

I went 2 summers on the king mattress in our Seneca FS and that was too long. Replaced the king and the iron-maiden-torture mattress in the fold-out bed to foam. MattressInsider.com. What is money but to spread like manure? The 5-1/2" mattress goes under the hanging closet and the fold-out is unlike any fold-out you've felt. Sublime.

If the road bed has washed out we don't pour a new layer of asphalt over it. For every difficult problem there is always an easy solution that won't work.

I know what you mean regarding those Denver mattresses. The plywood base is more comfortable than having the springs and wires poking you all night, or the big "boings" when you roll over. First mod I made to my 2014 287BHBE was to replace the mattress. I found a very comfortable rolled-up Sealey Fort Thomas Firm mattress from Walmart for about $200. No need to associate camping with being uncomfortable. ..... Swampy
