Hitch Question

Hello Everyone, Can anyone recommend a hitch setup that we should use for our 322FKS? It only has the standard ball hitch and no anti-sway etc. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Jack,

Assuming that you have a TV & receiver capable of towing the combined loaded weights of your TV and Eagle 322FKS, IMO I would not look at anything less than a WDH with a 1,500lb rating (with adequate sway control)....., but a 1,700lb rated WDH with "integrated" Sway Control would be my choice. Front kitchen TT's can produce heavy tongue weights even when not loaded on the heavy side.

When looking for a WDH, first confirm if your TV receiver pin box has a 2" or 2 1/2" opening for sizing the draw bar.

Hi Bob, Thank you for the quick response. I just purchased a F150 with the max towing option that gives me 11,200 towing capability. I believe the trailer dry weight is about 8300? I really only will need to move the trailer at the beginning and end of the season since I cannot leave it there all year. It does have the 2" opening since I just bought a draw bar to pull the honey pot to the dump station. I should be good with this reese option then? Thanks for the help, this is all new to us!
