Hole near roof/gutter area, thoughts?

First off no leaks noted so see pic that this hole should not be here. I have read dicor or different kinds of specific caulk but for this area what sealant should I use. The size is about the size of a small pea. We are about to go out this weekend and storms are expected. It is not a level flat horizontal area but have read many threads regarding just putting in silicone and potential problems... I can't take it to a dealer to repair prior to the trip. Any help is appreciated.

OSI Quad caulk at HD or LOWES. Same as what factory uses.

Before filling, check that the 'hole' is not just excessive/sloppy sealant.

It looks like the bottom of the hole opens into the gutter. Therefore any water flowing that way is just directed away from your RV.

OK thanks... The other side with similar gutter attachment does not have a hole and I don't see an end to it... It appears to go down further into the seam.

Thank you for the brand and type. Just what I needed even if this hole wasn't needed to repair.

I think I see what you saying... Does the hole just go down into the gutter and the caulk in front of it was just extra... That may be why I don't have a leak as the water is still going into the gutter. Got it... I will double check it.

original gutter spouts?

I replaced original gutter spouts recently and found that the project impacts this area......so I re-caulked it and should probably check again. Maybe the gap on OPs trim edge is a byproduct of changing spouts.....there is a probably a perfect caulk to use - but use something, for sure.

X2, this is what I use. Cut a very small cut in the tip of the caulk tube, have a container of very soapy water to moisten your fingue tip to smooth. Stuff works great, a little different to use than regular caulk. Make sure to use a small quantity, add more as needed.

Went and purchased the caulk from Lowes and it worked perfect.. Cut a small tip and injected the hole.. Used soapy water to slightly feather and should be good to go. Thanks guys for all the feedback.
